Where Joy, Connection, and Purpose Come to Life
Every story, every smile, every beat matters.
Whether it’s cheering on our teams, celebrating community wins, or highlighting voices we love, the Heart of RAS is all about showcasing the heartbeat behind our work. Because when heart leads, good things follow.

Right At School is my heart’s work. It’s where my passion, my expertise, and my purpose come together in service of children and families.
As a mom, I’m reminded of this every day whether I’m cheering on my older daughter as she defends the goal on the soccer field or watching my younger daughter immerse herself in her latest creative masterpiece. Those moments remind me that every child has a story, a spark, and a future waiting to unfold.
At RAS, we have the privilege of nurturing those futures alongside our extraordinary people and our amazing school district partners. Together, we are building something bigger than ourselves. That’s why our children, our people, and our mission will always be The Heart Of RAS.

Right Club Gives Back
At Right at School, we believe in the power of being locally inspired and integrated into our communities.
Right Club Gives Back is a special curriculum unit that empowers students to make a positive impact—locally and beyond. Students learn empathy, leadership, and the joy of giving through hands-on service projects like creating goody bags for first responders, organizing food drives, and becoming pen pals with seniors. Together, we’re helping the next generation grow into thoughtful, compassionate citizens.

Full Hearts,
Strong Partnerships
When our values align with our school district partners, great things happen.
Here’s what they say:

Dr. David Vannasdall
Superintendent
Arcadia Unified School District
“Right At School has become a true partner with Arcadia. As a partner, they share our values and support our mission.
RAS is responsive when issues become known and dream with us when opportunity rises. RAS leaders and staff believe in a “student-first” approach to childcare, are innovative in their program offerings, and are sensitive and caring in their relationships with our team.”

Dr. John Polm
Superintendent
Puyallup School District
The Right At School program has exceeded all expectations here in the Puyallup School District. Several years ago we embarked on a partnership with RAS.
Our district was experiencing an extreme shortage of before and after school care options for our families. There were many skeptics that a company like RAS could come into the community and be accepted. But the Right At School team immersed themselves into our district and is now a beloved partner who exceeds in every phase of their services. We count on their dedicated staff each and every day. What a blessing to have RAS here serving kids and families in Puyallup.

Dr. Kathi Weight
Superintendent
Steilacoom Historical School District
The partnership between Steilacoom Historical School District and Right At School is truly remarkable. Right At School shares our dedication to enriching students’ lives beyond classroom hours. Through engaging activities, professional supervision, and a nurturing environment, they ensure children receive comprehensive support for their academic and social-emotional growth. We are immensely proud of this partnership, which fosters a sense of community and continuity through sincere collaboration.

Jim Taylor
Principal
Wynecote Elementary School
“The Right At School curriculum is excellent. When I do pop-ins, I see a variety of things happening — academic enrichment, physical activities, creative projects, reading in a quiet space. I’m impressed by how it’s all managed. There are multiple modalities of learning taking place. Kids are engaged. Every child’s needs get met. I see the response to the whole child.”

Kelley Boynton
Executive Director of Elementary Schools
Bethel School District
“When I talk with families, they say that their children look forward to going to Right At School and that they enjoy it. It’s a well-run program. It’s productive. Parents feel confident dropping off their children, and I hear that from many community members. The community believes that Right At School is part of the Bethel School District, not just a partner. The programming and the staffing have been outstanding, which helps give our district a good name.”

Dr. Lance Goodpaster
Superintendent
Franklin Pierce Schools
“Our families have had nothing but positive things to say. They need to know their kids are safe and cared for, in a place where they can grow and learn. And that’s RAS.”

Trisha Kocanda
Superintendent
Fremont School District 79
For over 10 years, Right At School has been an invaluable collaborator in developing our expanded learning after-school program. Through open communication channels and regular consultations, they actively sought input from our school community, including administrators, teachers, and parents.

Dr. Victor Shandor
Superintendent
York County School Division
“RAS makes it a point to keep our students motivated with engaging activities everyday. And – most importantly – they care about our students’ safety and well-being.”

Paul Otten
Superintendent
Beavercreek City School District
Right At School been a very positive experience for our families, and we continue to see the before and after school programs growing. It’s been a nice addition to provide this service to families, and the service is high quality. It’s meeting the needs of families and our community.

Dr. Sylvia Zircher
Superintendent
South River School District
“We wanted to provide a camp environment over the summer but with an academic component. So, we partnered with Right At School to provide the camp-type activities — ‘the fun stuff’ as our kids call it — while our staff took on the academic remediation component. It was a good marriage of what we wanted to provide for our students, and we had some grant opportunities so we could offer free tuition, which is beneficial for a community like ours.”

Jim Wipke
Superintendent
Ladue School District
I am delighted to express my sincere appreciation for the invaluable collaboration with Right At School in the development of our school enrichment program. As we embark on this exciting journey together, I am confident that Right At School’s passion for educating young minds will not only enhance the academic experience but also contribute to the overall success and well-being of Ladue students. Here’s to a flourishing partnership that prioritizes education and the bright future of every student in our district!”

Krestin Bahr
Superintendent
Peninsula School District
“When I think of RAS I think ‘student-centered’ right away. Every decision that is made starting with the flexible planning that we experience centers around the needs of our students and families.”

Kevin Alfano
Superintendent
Fife Public Schools
“It’s the core mission of Right At School to ensure their staff has state of the art training and that they’re up to date on our priorities. That has made all the difference.”

Dr. Tom Bruce
Superintendent
Berrien Springs Public Schools
As educational leaders, we have an opportunity to transform the current educational landscape using quality ‘out-of-school-time’ programming. Integrating OST into our academic planning has been essential for improving student success.

Krestin Bahr
Superintendent
Upper Merion School District
“Right At School is not a cookie-cutter program. We had the ability to customize based on the needs of our community, and Right At School delivered that for us.”
