Are field trips included in the cost of camp?
Costs may vary by location—please visit your summer camp district page to see whether your field trip is included or requires an additional fee.
How much do field trips cost if they’re not included?
Field trip costs vary by location. You can see the exact cost and details of each trip on the registration page.
How many field trips are there each week?
Field trips vary by week and availability. Offsite and/or onsite field trips may be scheduled based on programming.
What kinds of field trips are offered?
A wide variety of field trips are offered—including museums, zoos, bowling, animal farms, planetariums, aquariums, mini golf, and more. Offerings vary by location and availability.
Can my child still attend camp if we don’t sign up for a field trip?
If your district requires an additional fee for field trips, your child can still be registered for summer camp without participating in the field trip.
Can my child still attend the field trip if we don’t sign up for Summer Camp?
To attend a field trip, your child must be registered for Right At School summer camp for the day of the field trip.
Is transportation provided for field trips?
Yes, transportation is included for all field trips.
What is the refund policy for field trips?
Right At School does not provide credits or refunds for program cancellation due to inclement weather, facility issues, school closures, school-dictated unavailability of space, or any other issue beyond Right At School’s direct control. This includes days school is canceled for district-mandated furlough days or days school is canceled due to a teacher strike. Credits and refunds are not available for student absences including absence for specialty camps, summer camps, or field trips.
Right At School cannot issue refunds within 72 hours of the start of Summer Camp, specialty camp, field trips. If you need to cancel your child’s registration for an upcoming day, please make sure to do so at least 72 hours prior to the day.
Will lunch be served on field trips?
Right At School does not provide lunch. Please pack a nut-free sack lunch for your child that does not require refrigeration.
What happens if there is inclement weather on the day of a field trip?
In the event of inclement weather on the day of a field trip, the onsite team will arrange an alternative activity for the same day.
