Each week, students will enjoy engaging lessons along with supervised time to play against their classmates. They will expand their understanding of the game, covering topics from the basics to opening theory, middle game tactics, and endgame strategies. As a result, students will also enhance their vocabulary and math skills. Research shows that students who play chess tend to perform better academically. Playing chess can increase IQ, improve memory, and promote analytical and critical thinking skills. Additionally, it teaches problem-solving, responsibility, sportsmanship, social skills, and more.
