Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance children's motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Tue	Piano & Voice Workshop: By Chicago School of Musical Arts	Enjoy the fun of being a musician and creating your own songs in this fun and engaging class. Incorporating music theory fundamentals, piano technique, and vocal training, students will learn to sing and play, as well as accompany each other. Students will learn using songs of their choosing with opportunities for original composition. The instructor will also introduce the students to different types of music and instruments. Each club has a limited number of spaces and may also need a minimum number of children to run. Registering early helps secure your child’s spot and gives the club the best chance to move forward.

If a club is canceled by Right At School because it does not meet minimum enrollment, registered families will be notified and refunded according to the program policy.
