Tue	Chess: By Shining Knights	Knights, Captures, Action! Whether you are new to the game, learning to push pawns for the first time, or have played in numerous tournaments, and want to sharpen your skills, come to a Shining Knights Chess Class! We have trained numerous state champions and national trophy winners. We have trained even more kids to enjoy the game that they can spend hours playing with friends and family. Wed	Matty the Robot: By RadRobots	Matty the Robot teaches students about tangible (screen-free) programming. Each week, the teacher will present the students with a game or challenge activity, and then students will work together to collaboratively play the game or complete the challenge using Matty the Robot. Every lesson features a “Word of the Day,” such as ALGORITHM, FUNCTION, AND GYROSCOPE. Students work through the engineering design process by engaging in themed competitions and fun activities, which is natural motivation for them to think, refine their methods, and succeed! Thu	Ukulele and Guitar: Strum & Sing: By Chicago School of Musical Arts	This class celebrates the best of beginning ukulele and guitar for young learners! Strum and Sing along with either a ukulele or guitar! Learn how to play simple chords and strumming technique in this class. These techniques will then be applied to simple songs. Students will also be introduced to reading musical notation on the ukulele and/or guitar. Our session will conclude with an in-person demonstration for parents to attend.
