Tue	Ukulele and Guitar: Strum & Sing: By Chicago School of Musical Arts	This class celebrates the best of beginning ukulele and guitar for young learners! Strum and Sing along with either a ukulele or guitar! Learn how to play simple chords and strumming technique in this class. These techniques will then be applied to simple songs. Students will also be introduced to reading musical notation on the ukulele and/or guitar. Our session will conclude with an in-person demonstration for parents to attend. Each week ends with a scrimmage encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship. Players always get to play either receiver or running back each week. Thu	Martial Arts by Connelly's Academy: By Connelly’s Academy of Martial Arts	Grandmaster Connelly is one of the most experienced and respected martial arts instructors in Chicago and the North Shore. He and his team of experienced martial arts educators have been providing fun, safe, and age-appropriate classes to our schools for over 30 years. His programs have had success in building confidence and motivating children to be respectful, responsible and resilient. Personal leadership and mutual respect form the foundation of his programs. Grandmaster Connelly and his team make learning martial arts fun, engaging and challenging, all the while building confidence, resiliency and personal leadership. This program teaches goal-setting and persistence, helping each child reach his or her personal best through the study of classical martial arts. Uniforms are not required for beginners. Uniforms may be purchased via our website. If not wearing uniforms, kids should wear loose, comfortable clothing. Belt promotion testing opportunities – where kids can advance in rank and earn a higher belt color by demonstrating what they have learned in class – are offered for qualified students in class. Fri	Minecraft Code: Super Mario (K-5th): By CodeAdvantage	Step into a world where coding meets structured learning and creative problem-solving! In this Minecraft coding class, students will design and code their own Super Mario inspired universe. They will build interactive levels within the Mushroom Kingdom, program character movements, develop game mechanics such as power-ups and obstacles, and create goal-based challenges.
