Mon	Cartoon Drawing With Young Rembrandts Spring 2026 Session: By Young Rembrandts - Northshore	Does your child have a great sense of humor to complement his or her artistic skills? If so, your child will LOVE a Young Rembrandts Cartoon class. Our students will learn how to personify inanimate objects, as they breathe life into everyday clocks. Popular pets will also see the cartoon treatment as they’re transformed into colorful characters. Then we will imagine ourselves traveling to far away worlds as we illustrate amazing alien beings. We will also demonstrate to our students that drawing toys can be just as much fun as playing with them. All this and more await our students. Enroll your student today! Tue	CirquesExperience WheelJAM Club: By CirquesExperience	The wheel is a low-impact sport for all. During the beginner classes, students experience the basics of a wheel in a playful and fun way. Balancing, rolling, learning the essential elements of wheel gymnastics by themselves and with a partner Participants will be introduced to the basics of the wheel – the foundational tricks that wheelers need to know to roll for fun or begin competing and performing. They will learn the basics of rocking and balancing, tricks with belts (rolling upside down and all the way around), and without belts. As they gain confidence in their wheel tricks, they will learn sequences for performances and beginner competitions. Fri	Martial Arts by Connelly's Academy: By Connelly’s Academy of Martial Arts	Grandmaster Connelly is one of the most experienced and respected martial arts instructors in Chicago and the North Shore. He and his team of experienced martial arts educators have been providing fun, safe, and age-appropriate classes to our schools for over 30 years. His programs have had success in building confidence and motivating children to be respectful, responsible and resilient. Personal leadership and mutual respect form the foundation of his programs. Grandmaster Connelly and his team make learning martial arts fun, engaging and challenging, all the while building confidence, resiliency and personal leadership. This program teaches goal-setting and persistence, helping each child reach his or her personal best through the study of classical martial arts. Uniforms are not required for beginners. Uniforms may be purchased via our website. If not wearing uniforms, kids should wear loose, comfortable clothing. Belt promotion testing opportunities – where kids can advance in rank and earn a higher belt color by demonstrating what they have learned in class – are offered for qualified students in class.
