| Tue | The Wizard of OZ: By Corella Productions | Please note this is not an acting class, but a comprehensive performance program that culminates that runs all year, in a Broadway-style production of The Wizard of Oz! Corella Productions is a female-owned, family-run organization providing high-quality after-school performing arts education throughout the Chicagoland area and Northwestern Pennsylvania. Now celebrating 25 years of service, Corella Productions is proud to be the longest-running after-school theatre program within Chicago Public Schools. Recognized as one of the nation's premier youth theatre programs, Corella Productions has transformed the lives of thousands of children through the performing arts. Founded on the principles of love, respect, and acceptance, our programs foster creativity, confidence, discipline, self-expression, and personal growth in a supportive and inclusive environment. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover their unique talents, find their voice, and experience the joy of belonging. This year-long performance program provides comprehensive training in acting, singing, and dance while preparing students for a fully staged musical theatre production. Students will rehearse weekly throughout the entire school year as they learn and develop all aspects of The Wizard of Oz. Enrollment in this program is a commitment to the entire school year and production. Tuition is paid in three installments: Fall, Winter, and Spring. The program concludes with performances of The Wizard of Oz at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts (1026 N. Dearborn Street, Chicago) on May 14-16, 2027. Tickets will need to be purchased for the production by parents. Tickets are $40. This is the only RAS program offered as a year-long commitment and provides significantly more instructional time than any other program offered. Students receive more than 70 hours of in-school training, plus approximately 30 additional hours of rehearsals at Ruth Page during the week of the show.
