We received photos of some great forts from our fort challenge a couple weeks ago. Does anyone else have a fort STILL up in their house? My kids have been sleeping in it for weeks!

If you still have a fort up in your house, or have a backyard and a tent, this is a really fun activity happening TONIGHT at 6:30 PST – check it out:

Our school’s spring break was technically last week, and needless to say, it wasn’t the one we had planned. We were blessed with a week of great weather, and getting outside for bike riding and rollerblading really boosted our spirits. In an effort to expand our small world and mix things up with “field trips,” we explored virtual tours available online.

Wow, there are some really great resources for virtual field trips!

World-class zoos and aquariums, like the San Diego Zoo and Monterey Bay Aquarium, are running live animal cams. Museums, like the Louvre and Smithsonian, are opening their virtual doors to explore great art and history. And the list of famous and historic places you can tour are endless – I highly recommend the tour of the Great Pyramids – it’s SO cool! You can even roam the streets of Disney World! Top it off with a virtual ride on the new Frozen ride. I know we all are struggling with cabin fever and perhaps a bit of wanderlust, so check out our @Home site for a complete list of all the fun virtual field trips that you can try out at home. Happy travels!
